So if you splurged on an RTX graphics card, you won’t be out of luck. Mundfish has released Patch 1.5.0.0 for Atomic Heart. It also already looks fantastic without ray tracing. Positively, it does at least feature fully functional DLSS compatibility, even for the new DLSS 3. Nevertheless, Atomic Heart has more issues than just a lack of options for ultra flashy graphics it is a game that is incredibly inconsistent and capable of both depressing lows and exhilarating highs. I guess it’s better than them being cancelled outright. Very odd that a game with a ray tracing demo that was authorized by Nvidia four years ago won’t have even a toned-down version of those features available for when the world can really play it. Ray tracing functionality for Atomic Heart’s console versions won’t be added in time for the game’s release on February 21 (tomorrow), according to game director Robert Bagratuni, but there hasn’t been a delay for RT features on the PC.
